​Welcome to techwriters.ca! By accessing or using our technical writing services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Services
We provide professional technical writing services, including but not limited to user manuals, product documentation, white papers, and instructional content. The specifics of each project will be outlined in a separate agreement.

2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for project completion. Delays in providing required materials may result in project timeline adjustments.

3. Payment Terms

Payment must be made according to the invoice terms.

Projects under $250: Full payment upfront.

Projects over $250: 50% deposit, with the remainder due upon completion.

Late payments may incur additional charges.
4. Revisions and Edits
Each project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Additional revisions or changes beyond the initial scope may incur extra charges.

5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final deliverables. We reserve the right to include excerpts of the work in our portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Confidentiality
We prioritize client confidentiality. Any materials provided by the client will not be shared or used for any purpose outside the project scope.

7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. In such cases, the client will be billed for completed work up to the date of termination.
